Great American III
Reflect on your investigation of the Vendee Globe race and the participants.
I think some of of the poeple in this race are brave!
This race seems very dangerous and risky but exciting too! We will try to keep up:) Best of luck to everyone By Ms. Storer's 6th grade students.
We listed reasons why someone would sail around the world, not just the Vendee sailors, but anybody.
From Greene Central School 5th graders...
To be in the limelight.
To possibly make a record
If they are like me, for the excitement.
To compete against other sailors.
1. To explore around the world.
2. To be the first to find something important.
1. Maybe they might want to be the first person to go around the world.
2.Maybe they wanted to get away from their country.
1. so you can make history.
2. so you can win alot of money.
1. They might want to break a world record.
2. They probably want the experience of seeing the world!!!
3. They might want to become famous.
Because they may want to see other countries. ----
Because they may need more food.
Because they might need to go somewhere to get something or someone.
Because they might want to see some place or something or even someone.
Because they might have needed to help the country.
TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE WORLD.
TO GET OUT AND SAY YOU DID SOME THING.
TO DISCOCOVER NEW LAND
The sailors may want to see the world.
They may want too see what it feels like.
They might do it for money.
They might do it for the fame.
Maybe because they would want to see some new sights.Or just to enjoy the different cultures.
